3 Days 2 Nights Trek Chiang Rai Area (Golden Triangle)



Day 1
CHIANGMAI – CHIANGRAI – BOAT – ELEPHANT – LAHU HILLTIRBE VILLAGE.
Day 2
LAHU HILLTRIBE VILLAGE – WATERFALL- AKHA HILLTRIBE VILLAGE.
Day 3
AKHA HILLTRIBE VILLAGE – MAE SAI – GOLDEN TRIANGLE – CHIANGMAI
   

Itinerary

Day 1 CHIANGMAI – CHIANGRAI – BOAT – ELEPHANT – LAHU HILLTIRBE VILLAGE.
Morning 08h00 Depart from Chiangmai by an accompanying of our experience jungle trekking guide by a local pick – up truck. The first stop will be made at the Hot Spring. 10h00 Continue the trip to Chiangrai.
Lunch 12h00Lunch at local restaurant.
Afternoon 13h00 Arrive Chiangrai and continue to experience the long-tailed speedboat upstream Mae Kok River for 1 hours. Then, enjoy an elephant riding through the jungle 1 –1 ½ hours to Karen hilltribe village. 16h00 Trek about 1 –1 ½ hours to Lahu hilltribe village.
Night 19h00 Dinner and overnight at Lahu hilltirbe village.
   
Day 2 LAHU HILLTRIBE VILLAGE – WATERFALL- AKHA HILLTRIBE VILLAGE.
Morning 08h00 Breakfast at the village.
Lunch 09h00 Trek about 1½ - 2 hours to the waterfall where lunch normally will be provided. After that, trek amidst the beautiful scenery about 30 minutes to another Lahu hilltribe village.
Afternoon 13h00 Continue the trek about 2 hours through the fantastic paddy fields to Akha hill tribe village at Baan Ar - Pa.
Night 15h00 Arrive Akha hilltribe village. Dinner and overnight.
   
Day 3 AKHA HILLTRIBE VILLAGE – MAE SAI – GOLDEN TRIANGLE – CHIANGMAI
Morning 09h00 After Breakfast, the mini pick – up to the border town of Mae Sai, the location of jade and jewelry market.
Lunch 12h00 Continue the trip to have lunch at the restaurant at the Golden Triangle and visit the ancient city of Chiang Saen after that.
Afternoon 15h00 Return to Chiangmai.
Night 18h00 Arrive Chiangmai, Transfer to hotel on reservation.
